Coral Point Fort Lauderdale condo nazi HOA problems: Who is in charge at Coral Point Condo?

From the information we have gathered, the people in charge of the Coral Point Condo Association located 1400 NE 54th Street in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334 along with the Management staff are the following:

How nice! Three grown men getting together to decide how we should live. And two of them don't even live here in our building! We particularly like "a quorum was achieved." Sounds kinky :)

What are our goals?

to give all residents at Coral Point Condo an opportunity to voice their opinion on issues pertaining to our building.
to shed the light on what's really happening at Coral Point Condo through a blog published and visible to the whole wide world.
to make the Board and SunEmerge, the condo management co. stop this trend toward detrimental condo fascism with absurd overwhelming rules and regulations.
to encourage the Board and Management to communicate better hence showing more respect to all residents whether they are owners or tenants.
to give all residents at Coral Point Condo an opportunity to share tips or suggestions especially in the absence of a request board.
to protect the value and reputation of Coral Point Condo by preventing it to become a camp rather than a home.

If Doug Sterner is the President of the Board in your condo I feel sorry for you and you may as well move out. I had the displeasure of dealing with him in my line of work, let's just say I work in the social and community field, and the guy is an absolute piece of ... well I'll let you be the judge. Back in 2009 as president of the Council of Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations, he did his best to prevent construction of affordable housing for low-income families in the Fort Lauderdale's Middle River Terrace neighborhood using ludicrous arguments such as stating "the apartments could be rented by the day or even the hour", overall his attitude was very disrespectful towards the low-income families we were trying to help and whom some of them he referred to as "troubled people".

I have dealt with many difficult and unpleasant people throughout my career but he takes the cake. Really if there is one person I would not want in charge of my condo, it would be Doug Sterner. Good luck to all of you there!
